The Festival Chants de Vielles is an annual "gathering of singers, musicians, dancers, and the curious" held in the historic Québec village of Montérégie, in Canada. The 2013 event hosted nearly 50 concerts and interactive workshops presented by more than 50 artists.[1]
The festival centers its activities around traditional songs and stringed instruments, prominently including the hurdy gurdy. The festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2014.
